Classes and Subjects

At Al Farouk Arabic School our goal is to ensure that every student that graduates year 6 with us is able to read, write, understand and speak Arabic fluently. That is why our classes are unique to each skill level and ability with a tailor made program that allows students to thrive and expand their linguistic skills.

In all of these classes we accept a range of school aged students. From ages 4- 16 years old.
In these classes we teach Quran, Islamic studies, Reading & comprehension, Spelling and Grammar at different skill levels.  

2024 School Dates

Term 1: 3rd of February to 13th of April, excluding 30th march (public holiday)

Term 2: 4th of May to 6th of July 

Term 3: 27th of July to 28th of September 

Term 4: 19th of October to 14th of December 

Extracurriculars and Activities

In addition to the learning program, we organise engaging events that help consolidate the knowledge students have learnt in class, whilst also providing fun opportunities to encourage students to build other important skills such as communication and teamwork.  

  • Eid Al-Fitr & Eid Al-Adha celebrations 
  • Ramadan celebrations 
  • End of term and end of year activities, that includes arts and crafts and sports 
  • All year round token system to encourage and commend hard work, resilience and trying hard 

Reward Token System

To motivate and encourage student to continue working hard and demonstrating good work ethic and attitude towards their learning and classmates. We have introduced a new reward system that allows students to exchange these tokens for prizes at the end of the semester. They earn these token by:

  • Showing up to class on time, and for majority of the weeks of the term
  • Showing up to class prepared (with materials and homework)
  • Good behaviour
  • Exceeding class room expectations 
  • Good work ethic, hard work and effort
  • Achieving good marks
